
A recently added arm of the Industrial Economic Development Board, the ThreeStar Program assists communities with connecting stakeholders and partners to strengthen community capacity and to implement actionable projects. In January 2025, TNECD will allocate $6 million in rural economic opportunity funding to expand the ThreeStar program, which has been praised for its promotion of community development and flexible grant opportunities.

The Joint Economic & Community Development Board of Polk County, Tennessee is a governmental economic development agency. The JECDB is focused on industrial, office, retail and business recruiting. The recruiting efforts are part of a strategic plan to increase and diversify the overall tax base of Polk County.
